Government Blames MDC Alliance And NGOs For Violence

Minister of State for National Security Owen Ncube said in a statement this evening that MDC Alliance is to blame for the violence that caused loss of life and property in Zimbabwe today. The minister said that investigations have started and that more than 200 people have been arrested so far.

Said Ncube:

“The prevailing situation in the country is a culmination of a well orchestrated series of events by the MDC Alliance working in cahoots with NGOs, Civic Society, youth organisations, pressure groups and individuals. Regrettably, this has resulted in the loss of life and property including injury to police officers and members of the public. We express our deepest condolences to the bereaving families,”

  1. I think these Ncubes are problem in the country.Finance minister caused these strikes,1)2% tax in every $10.00 transection,(2) above $3.00 fuel,(3) no increase for doctors & teachers. No one earns dollars but people are being charged in dollars.Your cousin is blaming opposition party but not you.People who took to the streets are feeling it.Cde RG was 600% better than the present administration. You wanted to beat that record of Cde RG for being better than by increasing fuel by 300%.Zim is bleeding.
