Miss India-Zimbabwe Scheduled For December 10

The inaugural Miss India-Zimbabwe is scheduled for December 10 at the Meikles Hotel in Harare.

The pageant is non-racial and its main aim is to empower young women to be responsive to challenges they may face in society. One of the organisers of the pageant Ms Rhea Babbar said it is divided into two categories with category A being for the young single ladies aged between 17 and 25 years whilst category B caters for the mature and women who have an interest in the world of fashion and beauty. She said the winner will travel abroad to participate in the international pageant, Miss India Worldwide, to be held in New York, in the United States.
