Morgan Tsvangirai Was Beaten By ZANU PF Youth Wearing Police Uniforms: Jim Kunaka

Jim Kunaka has sensationally claimed that the late MDC president Morgan Tsvangirai was beaten by Zanu PF youth in 2007. Tsvangirai was arrested and beaten while in police custody. Kunaka said that ZANU PF youth clad in police uniforms were responsible for Tsvangirai’s beating. He said this while giving his testimony before the Motlanthe Commission in Harare yesterday. Kunaka is a former ZANU PF Harare youth league leader and is alleged to have been the mastermind of a Mbare-based terror group called Chipangano. He said

In 2008 I was instructed to go and defend the revolution, and do anything, you know what happened, wonders happened. Zanu PF emerged as a winner in the end. Tsvangirai was not beaten by ZRP in 2007, instead, he was beaten by Zanu PF youth lynch mob which was given police uniform. I am telling you this so that you know where violence track record is coming from. If you want to remain with dignity here in Africa, please do the perfect thing that even when passing on at some point I would sacrifice to sell my goat and come and attend your funeral in the event I don’t have money for air ticket.

I used to take instructions from my commander (Manyeruke) so I will not answer any question from Charity Manyeruke. I’m surprised that you seated with Charity Manyeruke as one of the commissioners when she is one of the violence architecture in Zanu PF. Taitombogara navo pasi Mai ava tichironga kuti torova sei vanhu veMDC (we used to sit down together with her, plotting how to attack MDC people).

  1. Jim Kunaka is one those criminals surrounding former president Mugabe, the second republic does not entertain such unruly elements of the society, dai anechekuita ne this new dispensation government achirimo

  2. So what is Charity doing in the commission panel???AT LEAST Jim is coming clean and I wish all the people who were committing crime, corruption, killing, etc., under Mugabe’s rule should come clean so that Zimbabwe can move forward. Until all the people who were committing evil acts under Mugabe regime come clean, Zimbabwe will remain having problems. its easy and faster to come clean than to keep hiding and dragging time. Please Come forward all of you people who were forced to do bad things as it will also help you to move on. This must be haunting.
now that we Zimbabweans know that the Motlanthe Commission panel consist of people who were in the old system , it make me question the whole lot of the panel.

  3. Why should Kunaka’s accusations of Manyeruke be taken at face value. He is a self acknowledged rogue and is not worth the hullabaloo.
