Magaya Raided By ZIMRA In Unexplained Wealth Probe
The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) last week on Friday raided Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries founder and leader Walter Magaya. This was done as part of the ongoing lifestyle audits and unexplained wealth probes being carried out by the government. Reports indicate that Magaya’s base was raided twice on Firday. ZIMRA seeks to know how Magaya amassed his wealth and how much tax his ministry is paying. ZIMRA Commisioner-General Faith Mazani had this to say about the Magaya investigation
This is a sensitive investigation and I cannot comment about it at the moment. It’s still an internal operation and as you can see a lot is happening. I still have to see the reports so that I be will able to give out accurate information. For now, I cannot confirm anything.
