Econet Splitting Into Two Companies By December 11

Econet Wireless Zimbabwe is moving ahead with plans to unbundle Cassava SmartTech and list it separately on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) as Cassava SmartTech Limited. The process is set for completion by 11 November 2018. The new company will be issuing 750 000 000 shares to existing shareholders. Cassava SmartTech will consist of EcoCash, Ecosure and Steward Bank, among other companies.
