Police in Mberengwa arrested two men alleged to have stolen copper cables. The suspected thieves were arrested after police received a tip-off from a villager at Mataga Growth Point. The two suspected thieves were identified as Knowledge Kashiri (36) and Isaac Shonhiwa (44). The copper cables are estimated to be valued at $3 500. Speaking about the incident, Acting Midlands Provincial Police Spokesperson, Ethel Mukwende said
Investigations are still in progress and the suspects will appear in court as soon as possible.
