In a statement yesterday, Zanu-PF National Secretary for Information and Publicity Simon Khaya Moyo said the inauguration of MDC Alliance leader Mr Nelson Chamisa as the “president” of Zimbabwe during the party’s 19th anniversary celebrations in Harare, resembled a kindergarten spectacle.
He said zanu-PF will not be provoked by the MDC but warned the Chamisa led party not to play with fire. Said Khaya Moyo:

Yesterday’s (Saturday’s) political circus at the MDC Alliance celebrations at Gwanzura Stadium in Harare where those who attended were hoodwinked into believing that Nelson Chamisa is Zimbabwe’s president following the July 30 harmonised elections, resembled a kindergarten spectacle. The MDC Alliance leadership must bear the consequences of such misguided conduct and avoid playing with fire. The revolutionary party Zanu-PF will not succumb to such provocation. Zimbabwe has one elected President and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa. The entire world recognises this reality.
