I Offered Donald Trump Land In Victoria Falls Nat Park For Him To Build A Golf Course – Mnangagwa

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has revealed that he offered United States President Donald Trump land in the Victoria Falls National Park so that he can build a five-star golf course. Mnangagwa is currently in New York for the United Nations General Assembly. The Mnangagwa administration is looking at reengaging with the United States after the US renewed sanctions on Zimbabwe through the amendment of the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act just before the July 30 harmonised elections. Addressing delegates at the Zimbabwe’s Investors Forum, Mnangagwa said

When I was in Davos I met staffers from the Trump administration. I had hoped to meet President Trump but I had to leave before he arrived, but I told his people that if President Trump wishes, I will offer him ground in Victoria Falls in the national park.

We have wildlife national park in Victoria Falls, but I had offered President Trump ground to build a state-of-the-art golf course so that as he plays, he can be able to see the big five…In addition, I have committed that my administration will ensure policy clarity, consistency, transparency and predictability.

  1. Shame. Our President offered President Trump land to build a golf course. Is he crazy? That is called bribery. Jesus what is Wrong with this guy?

  2. I think it’s a good idea. Our country needs high profile people to invest in such things. Well done ED. If ED doesn’t do that, chances of getting our country on its feet again are zero. You are doing very well ED. Most business people will be coming just to play their games as well as touring the game park. I love it.

  3. Good strategy but i would recommend not in the National Park, our approach on our Parks land should be to retain them for the use designated for; am sure we have land just outside the Park that could be converted to this offer. Retaining Parks land in its form attracts visitors on the contrary a Golf course in the park whilst it has economic benefit the effect on the ecosystem outweighs the benefit of the offer.
