Mujuru Congratulates Mnangagwa, Says Elections Were Generally Free Though Not Necessarily Fair

In a statement, People’s Rainbow Coalition (PRC) presidential candidate Joice Mujuru congratulated President Emmerson Mnangagwa following his electoral victory in the just ended harmonised elections.

Mujuru extended her congratulatory message but noted that Elections were generally free though not necessarily fair. Said Mujuru:

I, as the Presidential candidate of PRC, and on behalf of the entire PRC family, while noting that the Elections were generally free though not necessarily fair, hereby pass my congratulatory message to His Excellency President ED Mnangagwa. We wish him well in his endeavours to rebuild the economy and bring about the much needed jobs for the young generation.

Mujuru called on business people, the international community and civil society to put differences aside and focus on rebuilding Zimbabwe.
