You Cannot Rob Me And Then Offer To Share Afterwards: Chamisa Responds To Mnangagwa

MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa has said that President Emmerson Mnangagwa should stop playing the mercy card by offering to involve the opposition in his government. Chamisa insisted that the negotiations must be preceded by restitution first.  Said Chamisa,

You can’t rob me of my goats then you come and say let’s share those goats. Let’s first have a restitution, each for each, then we can start to talk. Even if the goats were mine, let’s share the goats on the basis of the truth, not to take mine then you say we have equal goats. So, we must work together fiction and deception will not work…Zimbabwe needs dialogue and let the dialogue be on legitimacy, rule of law and dialogue on observing human rights. Our people are being subjected to abuse, senior politicians being dragged to court.

  1. The author of this paper must re-address the wrong he is projecting to the readers, there is nothing so humiliating as falsehood that is built from distorted truths.

  2. Chamisa is a bitter man, he should face reality he was defeated twice by ED in the ballot box and at the Constitutional Court.

  3. Honestly this man Chamisa cannot be serious. He is so power hungry it’s clear. He is not speaking on behalf of anyone but himself and those that appear to support his position are hoping kudya naye. I urge followers not to allow themselves to be part of this circus he is creating. VaChamisa, is God still in it kana kuti you are now in control? Mwari ndivo here varikukutungamirirai at this point? I pray God releases you from the bondage of bitterness, anger, greed and denial you are in now.

  4. If senior politicians (across the political divide) are being dragged to court for their own wrong doing is that a human rights abuse? Oh Chamisa …so you think senior politicians are above the law?

  5. I wonder if all this people blaming Chamisa read his thought. Unless if anyone of you can convince me that if someone still your home property today you will be willing to share it with them if that thief asks you to share the property. People that are POWER HUNGRY rig elections. If Chamisa lost musiyei anofudza mombe or do something else. This thing of trying to unit people that are not on the same page is nonsense unless if u can prove that you can unit The devil and Jesus. Somethings are never possible. So ED won the election as said by Malaba and ZEC so let do his job. Don’t send us back to 2008 were a unity gvt was formed with hope for a better future only to find ourselves going back to the same old state when ZANU came into power again. If we have a unity gvt now what then when it is over. The same old people start looting again what was built in the unity gvt. Let them build and destroy what they have sweat on.

  6. Chamisa should not and cannot get involved in a ZanuPF led gvt. It is clear that he was robbed of victory. If he wants to move on and remain an opposition party leader then he must stay outside of ZanuPF and we continue to have a multiparty state. His day is going to come, he is young, ernegetic, intelligent and focused, way better than anyone in Zimbabwean politics at this time and he has a lot of support locally and internationally. Given the chance he will re-build our crumbling economy in a few years. ZanuPF has brought the country to its knees, what can Chamisa learn by working with ZanuPF? No Chamisa, dont join the ED led gvt.

  7. Vakahwina ngavatonge,,, President Chamisa just sit and watch from the back seat. Do not by any mistake join these people,,, never be lured by anything. Remain pure, as pure
