Zanu-PF national chairperson and Minister of Water, Environment and Climate Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri has attacked former president Robert Mugabe calling him a traitor for allegedly working with the opposition. Muchinguri said Mugabe was responsible for sanctions and called on the spirits of liberation war fighters who sacrificed their lives in the war to rise against him. Muchinguri Kashiri said this while supporting members of the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) who have called for the renaming of the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport. The war veterans have also alleged that Mugabe is a traitor.
