SADC Silent On Recognition Of Mnangagwa As New Zimbabwean President At Summit

In its Communique of the 38th Ordinary Summit of the Heads of State & Government held in Windhoek, SADC did not congrstulate Emmerson Mnangagwa for the elections Victory, despite doing it for Anfgolan President who was also elected recently.

SADC congratulated member states that held elections since the last summit in August 2017, Angola and Zimbabwe; and then congratulated President Joao Lourenco and MPLA for winning the elections. It however did not congratulate Mnangagwa and ZanuPF.
