ZEC Speaks On Presidential Ballot Paper Design

ZEC Chairperson Justice Priscilla Chigumba spoke on the design of the ballot paper amid allegations that the design of the presidential ballot paper has been designed to benefit Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Chigumba said the proposed one column design would have resulted in a long ballot paper of A3 plus in size and required double the amount of paper. Said Chigumba:

The cost benefit analysis revealed that the option would have required not only an increase in ballot paper but also an increase in production time. Thus the option had both financial and logistical implications on the commission’s preparations.

  1. President Mnangagwa is on number 15 and Chamisa on number 2, what about the one on number 1. Ummm some of the MDC Alliance`s complaints are really difficult to pay attention to.
