Looters Have Returned $850 Million Out Of $1,4 Billion

Speaking at the 31^st African Union (AU) Summit theme entitled, “Winning the Fight against Corruption-A Sustainable Path to Africa’s Transformation” in Mauritania, President Mnangagwa said US$850 million has been repatriated back in Zimbabwe after he declared a three month amnesty.

The amount declared or received after the end of the amnesty on 16 March was US$591,100,000 and the outstanding balance was US$826,503,404. However, the outstanding balance now stands at $567, 603, 404.
