Vice President Kembo Mohadi has said that the ruling Zanu-PF party expects to win the July 30 harmonised elections by at least 70 per cent of the votes. Mohadi expects the opposition’s votes to be split by the over 100 political parties that will be contesting. Said Mohadi,
As a party, we are prepared for the elections because we have solid support. I’m not speculating but I’m talking about the number of our party members who are registered to vote and come election time we will make sure that almost all of them vote even if it means transporting those who can’t make it to polling stations. Yes, MDC is doing whatever they are doing but there are more than 100 political parties that are registered and this will divide votes. We are ready and for sure we will win. We expect a 70 per cent victory…There is no inter-party violence so far and campaigns are being held peacefully and this is the spirit that should prevail even during elections. If you have a solid support base there is no need to engage in violence.

No Mr Mohadi…some people who previously supported ZANUPF will also migrate to the 100 opposition parties. My take is ZANUPF because of its dismal performance in the last 38 years will lose more supporters to the opposition than it will gain. It’s far from a zero sum game. It just goes to show how dumb some of our politicians are. Pathetic.
Kembo, Kembo, Kembo!!! Matovota kare? Why are you so childish, give us something better. You presided over a brutal police force and you expect everyone to take you seriously? Do not take people for granted. Show us something new …. so far I have not seen it.
