Renewal Democrats of Zimbabwe (RDZ) leader and Coalition of Democrats (Code) presidential candidate, Elton Mangoma, has revealed that talks between his organisation and the MDC Alliance have broken down. Code decided not to join the coalition saying that they wanted a chance to challenge Nelson Chamisa for the presidency. In an interview with New Zimbabwe, Mangoma said,
We have been talking with the MDC Alliance and it became patently clear that all they wanted was an endorsement of Nelson Chamisa…We just couldn’t reconcile it because they wanted us to contest each other at the parliamentary level and council level not at the presidential level. Yet at these levels, there is no runoff systems and yet there is no second chance whereas with the president there is clearly a second chance so we just couldn’t agree.

These are confused people bent on power grabbing. They have been sent to appear like defectors from ZANU PF and when the time for elections draws closer, they try and smear MDC in an effort to sway voters.
What can that party do besides dividing voters, the opposite of what people want.
We continue to be ruled if we are divided.
Let us fight for a common cause, to remove ZANU pf and then we can sort out the rest.
