Stand As An Independent And Be Cheapened Liked Simba Makoni: Zanu-PF Youth Warns Disgruntled Members

Zanu-PF youth league national political commissar Godfrey Tsenengamu has told all disgruntled party members who are unhappy with the outcome of the primary elections to leave. However, he warned them that by becoming independents, they risk being “cheapened” like Simba Makoni. Speaking at the youth interface rally in Gweru, Tsenengamu said

If you feel that you are not able to accept the results you are free to leave the party and stand as an independent candidate, but I just want to warn those individuals and tell them that they don’t have support…You will be cheapened just like Simba Makoni who does not have the numbers and is struggling to have a rally.

Ironically, Tsenengamu has admitted that cheating took place in the Zanu-PF primary elections but called for people to move on.
