Harry Greaves the executive director of Australian battery minerals firm Prospect Resources has revealed that his company has already sold 70 percent of its lithium production for the next 7 years. The company is yet to extract the mineral from Zimbabwe’s soil. Said Greaves,

We have done our feasibility studies and have sold 70 percent of our production for the next seven years, that is pre-sold, and we are negotiating on the balance of 30 percent and that is signed off through the MMCZ…We have catered for it in our off-take agreements to let our customers know that we are going to be diverting part of our lithium to our lithium carbonate plant.
