MDC-T Supporters Write Petition, Warn Of Election Loss Due To Imposed Candidates

MDC-T supporters from Kwekwe are reported to have sent a petition to the national chairperson, Morgan Komichi warning him about the imposition of candidates. The supporters warn that unless the situation is fixed, the party will lose the national elections.

Jeremiah Mafirakureva Mafirakureva the spokesperson for the Concerned Citizens of Kwekwe told New Zimbabwe,

There is a general feeling of disgruntlement in the manner in which the elections were conducted. There were serious cases of candidate imposition and the party risks losing if the issue is not looked into. In 2013 we lost some seats because of candidate imposition it seems our party leaders are yet to learn from that mistake.
