Saviour Kasukuwere To Be Questioned By Police, Says He Is Taking Break From Politics

Former Zanu-PF national political commissar Saviour Kasukuwere who returned to Zimbabwe today from a self imposed exile, says he is taking a break from politics to concentrate on business and farming.

Speaking on his arrival at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare this afternoon Kasukuwere said he had made a personal decision to come back home and is prepared to face any charges levelled against him.

Star FM News reports that police will question Kasukuwere. Speaking to journalists during the visit of police Commissioner General Godwin Matanga to Mutare, national police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said police would like to interview Kasukuwere. She said the interview will be meant to establish how he escaped during Operation Restore Legacy, to ascertain whether or not any charges should be levelled against him.
