The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) launched the Anti-Corruption Unit on Thursday. Police Commissioner General Godwin Matanga said the new special unit will be a success.
Speaking at the launch and commissioning of the unit’s offices at Morris Depot in Harare, Home Affairs Minister Obert Mpofu said police will be working together with the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) and other agencies to curb corruption. Government recently launched Anti-Corruption Courts in partnership with ZACC, the National Prosecuting Authority, the Attorney General’s Office, the ZRP and the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services.

we see cases of corruption happening in Mwenezi District that involves the Public service Boss who abuses his office and abuse government vehicle.On several occasions I had been report to the Public service Commission and ZAAC but to no avail. I was using there email addresses.

Mr Talent Gumbo you are after an individual. Abuse and corruption are two different cases. You present your case to Zacc or ZRP for them to investigate human beings with fundamental rights enshrined in constitution. These two bodies must be given a chance to perform within the limits of the law not to please Mr Gumbo
