Zanu-PF Women’s League Blames Mugabe For Low Investment

Addressing women who attended a Zanu-PF rally in Kuwadzana 6, Harare, the party’s politburo member Cleveria Chizema blamed former President Robert Mugabe for low investment in the country because he shunned investors.

She said unlike his predecessor, Emmerson Mnangagwa is courting investors as shown by the commissioning of the Kariba South Power Station Extension Project. However, the Kariba South Project was signed during Mugabe’s tenure. Said Chizema:

President Mnangagwa is on record saying that Zimbabwe is open for business unlike former president, Cde Robert Mugabe who made the people suffer for 37 years. He shunned investors and other development partners for many years and this is why there was so much suffering.

    1. i don’t understand these people its always a blame game vainge varipi for the past 37yrs taremba nevanhu vanoita kunge majelly fish. kurikuenda mhepo ndokwavanoenda. Vakabvisa Mugabe but his system ndirikushanda. Apa varikubhadarisa vanhu ma $ kuchera mvura pama borehole akaiswa nema donor apa umwe ndopaari kuukura.

  1. These women are very funny. During Mugabe’s tenure they were singing praises for him. Now he is gone they’re blaming him for all the country’s woes. Mnangagwa was Mugabe’s deputy why didn’t he advise his leader on where the country was going. We are now the laughing stock and an example of something that has gone bad in the world. For me the changes that Zimbabwe is going through are just cosmetic.
