Join Chamisa's MDC Alliance, Ditch Rainbow Coalition To Beat Zanu-PF: Joice Mujuru Advised

Joice Mujuru has been urged by her supporters to dump the People’s Rainbow Coalition (PRC) and to join the Nelson Chamisa led MDC Alliance coalition instead. Her supporters believe that the MDC Alliance has a better chance of defeating Zanu-PF in the 2018 harmonised elections compared to the PRC. This comes after the entire youth executive of Mujuru’s National People’s Party (NPP) dumped her over the PRC issue.

A party member who spoke to NewsDay said,

The PRC is not something that has given us any momentum ahead of the polls. We have people in that coalition, who claim to be a party but they are not even followed by their own families and this has affected morale in the party. We believe that there can be movement if we join hands with Chamisa.
