All Gun Owners Must Surrender Firearms At Police Stations: ZRP

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has called on all gun owners to surrender their firearms at the nearest police station. The CID has said that it will be conducting a verification exercise to check that all the gun-owners are in possession of their firearms legally.

CID acting spokesperson Detective Assistant Inspector Portia Chinho said,

The Zimbabwe Republic Police, Criminal Investigation Department, is calling for all holders of firearms either lawful or illegal to surrender them to police stations for the verification exercise.

  1. I find it interesting that almost exactly 243 years ago, to the day, England tried the same thing in America. Ironically, or not, that is the same day that government soldiers, officials, and police started being ambushed, hunted, stalked, and killed in America.
