MDC-T To Make A Decision On Khupe Tomorrow

In an interview with NewsDay yesterday, MDC-T deputy chairman Morgen Komichi said the party’s council will take a decision tomorrow following the expiry of an ultimatum for Thokozani Khupe to return more than a week ago.

Said Komichi:

Yes, the council will take a decision. It will consider the work that she has done between the time when the seven days (ultimatum) was given and now. We will receive reports on what she has done and the declarations that she has made and I am sure the council will then make a decision

Khupe’s personal assistant, Witness Dube, said there were no talks between his boss and Nelson Chamisa. He said Khupe and Chamisa last communicated two weeks ago when the MDC-T leader addressed an MDC Alliance campaign rally in Dete.
