Mnangagwa Names Mariyawanda Nzuwah’s Replacement

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has named Dr Mary Magarat Muchada as the interim chairperson of the Civil Service Commission. She replaces for former boss Mariywanda Nzuwah who was retired by the President after serving more than 24 years as boss for civil servants.

In a press statement, R Chikowere, the acting secretary for information, Media and Broadcasting Services said,

The Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda, has announced the appointment by His Excellency the President, Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, of Dr Mary Margarat Muchada as Acting Chairperson of the Service Commissions until further notice. Dr Muchada’s appointment follows the retirement of Dr Mariyawanda Nzuwah as Chairman of the Service Commissions The appointment takes immediate effect.
