Mugabe Should Just Shut Up And Rest Peacefully: War Veterans Speak On NPF

Speaking at a belated celebration for his elevation organised by the Gokwe Development Trust, Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans’ Association’s (ZNLWVA) secretary general Victor Matemadanda urged Robert Mugabe to enjoy his retirement in silence.

Matemadanda was speaking on reports that the former Head of State was behind the formation of the Ambrose Mutinhiri led National Patriotic Front (NPF). Said Matemadanda:

Mugabe has never been a war veteran and he cannot be a member of the patriotic front because he never participated in any war. He cannot call his party patriotic front, but patriotic fail. He should just keep quiet and rest peacefully.

  1. muri right pahu wrong wenyu mese ,idear yenyu is good but zimurume ramaisa apa rine hutsinye ngaritange rarerura zvarakaita ku vanhu first [Robert Mugabe ] sorry for this varume [NPF ] hakuna kwainoenda

  2. War vets are becoming more stupid, what does our constitution say?.NPF is an opposition party like any other and it has the right to let Mugabe join or backup,i see no problem with that. These stupid war vets should focus on the future of our economy not Robert Mugabe.Mugabe has the right to join any political party since he is no longer the President of Zanupf government. It seems Matemadanda is worried about the future of NPF n that’s why they always mention Mugabe in their meetings. Mugabe himself has never beaten anyone but people like mademadanda ,chiwenga and garwe contributed to the brutalization of masses for them to be in power.Flashback:when Mugabe signed a coalition government with tsvangirai ,do you rember Mnangagwa wanted to beat Mugabe for that so who is violent then?.
