Elizabeth Chose Not To Accompany Tsvangirai Body By Air. Preferred Road
Elizabeth Macheka, the late Tsvangirai’s wife, made a personal choice to travel by road instead of accompanying her late husband’s body in a helicopter, MDC-T official Morgan Komichi, claimed yesterday.
Two helicopters flew to Buhera, one of them carrying the body and the other, some party officials among them national chairperson Morgan Komichi and another standing committee member Paurina Mpariwa. Macheka traveled by road.
Said Komichi:
We spoke to her, she actually accompanied the body to One Commando, but made her decision not to travel with the body. It was her personal decision. We had actually reserved a seat for her. She told us that she would prefer to travel by road and that is what she is doing. She is coming,
