PSL Announces 2018 Season Kickoff Date

The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League has announced that the 2018 season will kickoff on 10 March. They also announced that 18 teams will participate in the 2018 season.

Clubs are urged to register players by 23 February while the transfer window closes on 31 March. Read the full press statement below:

Press Release: Commencement of the 2018 PSL Season

The 2018 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season is expected to commence on Saturday 10 March 2018. The fixtures for the season will be released in due course

A total of 18 clubs will participate in the 2018 Premier League season. We welcome the newly promoted Bulawayo Chiefs FC, Herentals FC, Mutare City Rovers FC and Nichrut FC to the Premier Soccer League.

The Annual General Meeting is set for Friday 4 March 2018. Some of the key issues to be discussed at the AGM include club licensing, club structures, crowd management and competitions.

Further, clubs are required to register their players by Friday 23 February 2018. This will enable the verification of players’ information and processing of licenses. The First Player Transfer window closes on 31 March 2018. Clubs can still alter their squads until the player transfer window closes.
