In a statement, Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ) Public Relations Officer, Squadron Leader Special Matarirano dismissed a social media advert that they will be holding a recruitment from 13 to 16 January.

The AFZ does not convey official messages through the social media and undesignated platforms. Any advert on AFZ recruitment will be disseminated and broadcast through mainstream media such as newspapers like the Herald, the Sunday Mail and the ZBC.
He said the public should always disregard information that is published, disseminated and propagated through unofficial social media sites or immediately verify the authenticity of such information from the AFZ Public Relations Department or Recruitment Office on the following telephone numbers: 04-799529 or cell number 0712 831 408.
