We Will Not Leave The Army When Campaigning For 2018 Elections: Josiah Hungwe

Newly appointed Minister of State for Masvingo Province Josiah Hungwe has openly said that Zanu-PF will use the Zimbabwe Defence Forces when campaigning in next year’s harmonised elections. Hungwe who previously served as the Minister of Psychomotor Skills under former president Emmerson Mnangagwa told the Masvingo Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting that Zanu-PF would not leave the soldiers when campaigning. Hungwe is quoted by Tell Zimbabwe as saying:

In the Bible, the Kings ruled with the army on their side. Saka patinoenda ku2018 elections musasiya soja. (Zanu PF) Chairman, soja apa imi mberi. (When we campaign in 2018, do not leave the army. We will move side by side with the military).

Hungwe also claimed that the Commander of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) General Constantino Chiwenga was in the Bible, as the hero who fights for the people. Said Hungwe

President Mnangagwa with the help of the army managed to dislodge the enemy which has been shutting us out all along. With the help of Gen Chiwenga, all the enemies retreated and we are going to rebuild the Walls of Jerusalem.

Our President Mnangagwa said there will be gnashing of teeth in the end. General Chiwenga varimo muBhaibheri ndivo vaya vanopindira kana vanhu voramba nezvinhu zvevanhu (Gen Chiwenga is there in the Bible and he fights for the people).

  1. Very sorry Hungwe, you don’t know what happened, before you get lost ,why is it all is known before its really, Herbert V RG, Rex nhongo V the bullies

  2. can you explain the roll of army during the election time? if their presence is for the good of the people of Zimbabwe then we are not worried we are protected. As long the army can not be partisan

    1. It’s common knowledge that history tells us that ZNA is Zanu to the core and they don’t hide it, their actions speak volumes.

      ‘operation restore ZANU legacy’ ,

you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that.

  3. minister without brains is this the new zimbabwe with educated fools like hungwe you dont care about zim it seems zimbabwean army have forgotten their role chiwenga is not inthe bible he did notfight for zimbabweans instead he oppressed zimbabweans and intimidate them zimbabwean army must go back to the barrack no army on election you son of the devil hungwe

  4. I am very disappointed by such naivety. Please can someone hurry to Masvingo and educate this old mooh on the meaning of intimidation.

  5. I your desperate quest to see Mugabe out you marched with army and gave them all sorts of praises.

Come 2018 they’re obviously going to be involved in one way or the other just like you supported & let them get involved in the dislodging of old Mugabe.

UN/ AU/ SADC/ EU /Common Weatlth etc should have already been on the ground monitoring the registration process especially in the rural areas where there’s carefully articulate planned compulsory registration maneuvering under way to ensure ZANU pockets the rural vote. Intimidation and scaremongering is so rampant but no one is making noise about it. Shame!

  6. What a numb skull this hungwe is. Surely a tale of an idiot is full of sounds and fury yet signfing nothing. Its time to address the reguirements of economic recovery rather than bubbling gobbledgook-kind of stuff. There is an element ofG40 within this hungwe why do u want to spoil and divert peoples trust and hopes.?.futseki mhani iwe nxxxxxRemember its blasphemy tospesk against the word of God,where in the bible do we find chiwenga ma ybe in your satanic bible
