Throwback Video: Chombo's Prophet And N'anga Make Predictions on Stage
In one of the more bizarre moments in Zimbabwe’s politics, then Minister for Local Government, Publick Works and National Housing Ignatius Chombo paraded his personal prophet and Witchdoctor(n’anga) on stage so that they could predict election results. This happened in 2015, in Kuwadzana.
At the moment, Chombo is incarcerated at Remand Prison awaiting trial on charges of fraud, criminal abuse of office and contravening the Prevention of Corruption Act. He will be back in court on 8 December.
