Harare City and How Mine will battle it out for the 2017 Chibuku Super Cup after winning their semi finals in contrasting fashion.Harare City’s road to the final was rather hard as they battled out for 1-0 win over Bulawayo City ,as Martin Vengesai scored the crucial match decider.On the other hand How Mine proved to be a stronger team than Shabanie Mine as they won 3-1.
Kuda Musharu scored in the first minute for the Bulawayo based gold miners before Tinashe Makanda netted a second half brace. Shabanie Mine got their consolation in added time from Bruno Mtigo.
This is the first time How Mine has reached the final of the Chibuku Super Cup while Harare City will be looking to win their second title to add to the one from 2015.
Harare City and How Mine will meet at Rufaro Stadium this month to battle out for the $75 000 cheque at stake.
How Mine and Harare City performed very well which saw them forcing big teams such as Highlanders ,Dynamos and Caps United out of the Chibuku Super Cup.
