Mugabe Mocks Tsvangirai’s Illness, Says He Should Quit

President Robert Mugabe has called on rival Morgan Tsvangirai to quit saying his illness became worse after he was intimidated by the Presidential Youth Interface rallies organised by Zanu-PF’s Youth League. Addressing members of the youth league at the Zanu PF National Youth League Assembly in Harare on Saturday, Mugabe said:

Even amongst us, some wanted it to fail.

But no. You were brave enough, you were courageous enough, you were hardworking and industrious enough.

You wanted it to succeed and there it was! Shudhu, yakabuda!

It made not just the opposition tremble. Vakavamba vana Tsvangirai zvino kudedera nekumabvi uku, ndopakabva pavamba pasusukidza hurwere hwacho.

Aiwa tinoti kandai chipfumo pasi hapana kwamunosvika.

Zanu-PF is the mammoth party of the country.

Tsvangirai was recently released from hospital in South Africa, where he been recovering after he suffered a bout of sickness which resulted in him being airlifted.  His party, however, said that it was for a routine procedure.
