The Central Africa Building Society (CABS) has blamed its technical partner, Econet, for the system challenges that the bank has been experiencing on its mobile platform. The bank sent an apology to its customers which reads:
Dear Valued Customer, Please be advised that we are experiencing some technical challenges on our mobile banking platform (*227#). This is due to a technical fault at our service provider Econet. Work is already underway to resolve this issue. We regret any inconvenience caused.
