Brazilian legend and former Barcelona great Rivaldo born Rivaldo Vitor Borba Ferreira has arrived in Zimbabwe in preparation of legends clash with the senior men’s team the Warriors.
Rivaldo was supposed to arrive at 4:30 pm on Monday but arrived around 9 pm after the star allegedly refused to board a ‘small plane’ which he said was too small for his status. Rivaldo’s visit is part an initiative by the government through the ministry of sports to market the country through sports tourism. His visit will be followed by a match between the Warriors and a team of former Barcelona legends at the National Sports stadium on a date still to be announced.
