PSL responds to social media reports it has hiked gate charges

In a statement released on Monday, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has denied social media reports that it has has hiked gate charges with effect from 26 September 2017; with the cheapest ticket now pegged at $5.

PSL states that the statement is false and that matches are currently pegged at $3 although clubs can increase charges. The statement reads:

We wish to advise our valued stakeholders that this statement is false in its entirety and should be dismissed with the contempt it deserves.

The standard cheapest ticket price for all PSL matches is currently pegged at $3 although Clubs are permitted to apply for an increase or decrease for certain matches.
