Mugabe gives businesses two days to reduce prices as he returns from the USA

President Robert Mugabe has ordered all businesses which increased prices to reduce prices within two days. President Mugabe made the declaration at the Harare International Airport as he addressed a crowd of supporters who had gathered to welcome him home on his return from United Nations headquarters in New York City. He said that price hikes will be dealt with in the next few days.

This comes after some retailers hiked prices on Friday in response to reports that the price of the United States dollar had gone up on the black market. The increase in price of the greenback was blamed on a sudden increase of huge amounts of bond notes, most of which were sealed
