Zodwa Wabantu expected to perform in Harare despite Govt ban

There is a poster doing the rounds on social media that states that South African socialite Zodwa Wabantu will perform at Harare’s Private Lounge on 8 September. In an interview with Capitalk FM’s Farai Gwaze Zodwa said she is coming to Harare where she will perform at a private function.

Said Zodwa:

They contacted me today (yesterday) to organise the plane ticket bookings. I know nothing about this (ban).

Earlier this month, Zodwa was in Bulawayo where she performed at Club Connect. Before the Government ban on Zodwa, Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) ceo Karikoga Kaseke had said those who want to see Zodwa perform without her undergarments should go to the Private Lounge. Said Kaseke:

We will not allow her to perform without her panties, but we know she will be at the Private Lounge, so those who want to see her without panties can go there, but not in the streets.
