Moyo refuses to sing Jah Prayzah's "Mdara Vachauya", says Mdara is already there
Professor Jonathan Moyo yesterday turned down a request by graduands for him to sing Jah Prayzah’s Mudhara Vachauya at Gweru Polytechnic College. NewsDay reports that the song is widely associated with Vice-President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s bid to succeed President Robert Mugabe.
When asked to sing the popular song Moyo said:
Mudhara is already there.
FeedbackThe old man is coming and where is he coming from when he is already there?
Moyo told the graduands that government is finalising a framework to introduce a loan facility for students at tertiary institutions starting next year. This tallies with what Defence Minister Sydney Sekeramyi said at a rally over the weekend.
