President Mugabe gives sister-in-law $60 000 birthday gift to thank her for raising his children

President Robert Mugabe gave his sister-in-law Junior Gumbochuma, $60 000 for her 60th birthday. According to state owned newspaper The Herald, President Mugabe’s children also gave their aunt $10 000 to celebrate her birthday. Junior Gumbochuma is Grace Mugabe’s elder sister and she celebrated her 60th birthday while Grace celebrated her 52nd birthday over the weekend.

According to the Herald,

The gift was to thank Mrs Gumbochuma, a pastor, for the pivotal role she played in raising the First Family’s children.
