Ovidy Karuru makes Cosafa Cup history, scores most goals in a single tournament

Ovidy Karuru who is co-skipper at the 2017 Cosafa Castle Cup has made history by scoring the most goals in a single tournament with 6 goals to his name so far.

He has now scored one more goal than previous joint leaders, Sarivahy Vombola (2015) of Madagascar and Swaziland’s Felix Badenhorst (2016), and two more than Zimbabwean Cuthbert Malajila, who scored four goals when Zimbabwe won the tournament in 2009.
