Highly rated 19-year-old midfielder Kundai Benyu has signed for Scottish champions Celtic. Benyu had attracted attention from several English clubs after an impressive season for Aldershot Town. Celtic are the reigning Scottish champions and have won the Scottish Premier League for the past 6 seasons.
Though he was born in England, Benyu is eligible to play for the Warriors through his Zimbabwean parents and was called up for the AFCON qualifier against and has in the past been willing to represent the Warriors.
Benyu told the Celtic Website:
