Mugabe promotes 12 Air Force of Zimbabwe officers

President Robert Mugabe who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, promoted 12 Air Force of Zimbabwe officers from the rank of squadron leader to wing commander at their headquarters in Harare today.

Among the promoted officers is Wing Commander Simon Matingwina who was conferred in absentia as he is currently undergoing his studies in China in line with the organisation’s thrust of breeding professional soldiers.
