Linda Masarira (35), Makomborero Haruzivishe (25) and Desmond Sharukai (28) appeared before provincial magistrate Eric Kadye yesterday who granted them $50 bail each.
The court heard that on June 7, Austin Chihota had a misunderstanding with Masarira over an undisclosed issue and she in turn threatened to assault him. It is alleged Haruzivishe and Sharukai intervened and started assaulting Chihota before Masarira allegedly picked an empty beer bottle and hit him on the head.
Masarira had taken to social media claiming that she had been arrested for being in possession of a gun which she did not have. However, one of her co-accused Sharukai took the pellet gun from a cardboard box which she was holding and pointed at the bar manager Owen Nleya who intervened and saved Chihota who was being assaulted by the three.
