Parents of murdered gold panner demand 40 cattle in order to bury him
The parents of 21-year old Brian Bushe who was allegedly murdered by his fellow gold panners reportedly dumped his body at one of the suspect’s homes demanding 40 cattle. The parents only buried Brian, after one of the suspects gave them 7 cattle. The families of the suspects and Brian’s family are engaged in negotiations over how the balance of 33 cattle will be paid.
The suspects, Bothwell Moyo, 30, Omega Ziwa, 20, Godknows Sibanda, 22, Munashe Mtetwa, 22, and Alpha Shava, 21, all from Sikandiwa village in Mazvihwa, allegedly hacked Bushe to death with machetes at Sabi Gold Mine.
