Mugabe's first rally with Zanu-PF youth moved

Zanu-PF Youth League secretary and Politburo member Kudzai Chipanga yesterday confirmed that President Robert Mugabe’s meeting with the party’s youth members in Mashonaland East has been moved from Saturday to Friday.

Said Chipanga:

We would like to advise all the stakeholders that the date for the meeting is now this Friday in Marondera. The President has other engagements, but in his busy schedule, he has decided to accommodate us on Friday. We are happy for the honour and we urge all our members to continue with the preparations such that the event becomes a success.

The rallies have been renamed “Provincial Youth Interface Meetings” and Mugabe is expected to visit Manicaland on June 16. From Manicaland he go to Masvingo. The meetings are expected to last until October.
