George Charamba's wife buried

Wife to Permanent Secretary for Information, Media and Broadcasting Services, Mr George Charamba, Mrs Idaishe Olivia Charamba was buried today at her family home in Mutorashanga.

Mrs Charamba succumbed to liver complications at West End Hospital in Harare on Sunday. Mourners included Zimbabwe Defence Forces Commander, General Constantino Chiwenga, Mashonaland West Minister of Provincial Affairs, Faber Chidarikire and Zvimba North legislator and Home Affairs Minister, Dr Ignatius Chombo.

Charamba said the decision to bury his late wife at her parents’ plot homestead instead of Buhera where he comes from was meant to consolidate and maintain family ties with his in-laws and to cement the bond between his biological children and their half brother, Mrs Charamba’s first child from her first marriage.
