Uebert Angel denied entry into Zambia because he is accused of backing opposition financially

Prophet Uebert Angel the founder of Spirit Embassy was denied entry into Zambia because of allegations that he has been supporting Zambia’s opposition. Angel was accused of pouring a lot of money into opposition leader Mr Hakainde Hichilema’s presidential bid last year. The prophet and his wife Beverly were sent back to the UK on arrival in Zambia after they refused to comply with stringent conditions that had been set by the government of Zambia.

Good News Church spokesman Mr Rikki Doolan said:

Prophet Angel is an apolitical leader, he is a Christian leader not aligned to any political party but God. He had a visa to enter Zambia, but was told of stringent conditions which he refused to comply with and opted to go back to Britain.

A source who spoke to the Sunday Mail said:

Angel is being accused of pouring a lot of money into opposition leader Mr Hakainde Hichilema’s presidential bid last year. But he says he has nothing to do with HH
