Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga says Grace Mugabe's humiliation of Cde Chinx's wife is unexpected from someone who was a second wife

MDC MP, Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga has criticised First Lady, Grace Mugabe’s comments to Cde Chinx’s second wife Ntombizodwa at a handover ceremony that took place on Tuesday.

Said Misihairabwi-Mushonga:

It was insensitive for the First Lady to say that. She could have handled the matter in a more humane and dignified way. I would certainly have done better. These kinds of issues are better handled outside the glare of the public because one may never know. At times there are children involved and they suddenly become victims. As leaders, we need to be sensitive to other people’s feelings. As First Lady, the least we expect of her is to act humanely, particularly given she went into a relationship, as a second wife herself. There was already another woman (Sally).
